MIDTOON 200:
200 Comics. A milestone that would be more meaningful if it would have happened when originally planned, but with all the interruptions, reaching this point took way too long. The end of Season 2 and the beginning of 3 will be a more significant milestone for me, due to all the changes that I have been making as of late (which I hope are for the best). I want to thank all those who stayed with me during this irregular, hiatus-prone season. Here's to a better Season 3.
Today's guest was correctly identified by George on MIDTOON # 197 and is Tony McGurk, a comic creator that takes an exotic land called Tasmania and calls it 'home'. Tony has been a frequent visitor of this site, and is a true pleasure to interact with. His current comics can be found at Tony McGurk dot com and I have been known to visit there ocassionally and leave a comment or two. Right now, he has two comics, his regular one, called The Tasmanians, is about anything and everything, from rats to spaceships to... well, rats on spaceships. his other comic, that only appears on weekends, is a bizarre one about a dog, apparently based on real life. If you visit Tony's site, leave a comment and tell him that you saw him here in Midtoon. This way, all his fans will spill over to this site and I will steal them all with my charisma and low-cost comics.
I need to mention that being that I'm very poor at caricature, I had to base Tony's Toon on a caricature that Bearman made for him (For Bearman's work, go HERE)
