Marital conflict

Several witnesses have reported that The most famous family of Midtoon may not be as harmonious and peaceful as they would like us to believe. "There was an argument," said a neighbor. "I definitely heard Mabel yelling at her husband." Another neighbor stated that after the argument, "it appears that John Campos left on his red truck towards the shopping Center, "perhaps to buy something."

Some, more sinister suggestions included "he went downtown to get divorce papers," and "He went to see their marital counselor."

This Reporter did some research into those possible scenarios and came out with the following conclusions:

• Mr. Campos does like to go shopping when he is upset

• Since he works downtown, it would not make too much sense to run there just to get divorce papers. He probably already has access to them

• Mabel and John are not officially seeing a marital counselor, but the psychologist who treats Javier for his condition also counsels couples, so there is a possibility of some undercover counseling.

Our guess is that he just went to the countryside to burn some steam by burning some gas. Mr. Campos, who is already divorced, has been known to confront marital difficulties in one of two ways: Fleeing and Dropping to the ground and crying.

This reporter thinks that he may have done both...
