Even though Elliott Green keeps remodeling his apartments and his garage has tools and supplies everywhere there are no rats, the look of the set indoors is very clean.  "I work hard to keep the hallways and the Apartments in good repair." said Mr. Green in an aside with Disassociated Press. "It is almost the only way to charge enough rent, and in this economy I cannot afford to have empty Apartments."

Elliott Green, a retired veteran, who lives on his rental income, said he had been suffering for a while due to the fact that only one apartment was rented while he renovated the other two. "It took a long time, longer than I had planned, but With the new guy here," he explained. "I hope that remodeling the other apartment will not take long. I need to add more characters to my place so more comic strips develop here instead of the Campos Home across the street."
