Fred is not swallowing the story, due to a lack of histrionic ability in Lisa, who despite her best efforts does not convey a realistic besoted wife. His way of coming straight up and saying so leaves much to be desired, though. Especially when your date used to be with Erik before...
Lisa on her part, is realizing that a convincing honeymoon might be more than she expected would be.
Erik seems puzzled by everyone discussing him like he's not there. That, or the mouse ate his tongue. He's probably overwhelmed by it all to react.
And Mario and Anita have never kissed? As in EVER? Have YOU seen them?
